Chevron Wood Flooring has a unique fitting method. The blocks of engineered Chevron flooring have either a tongue and groove fitting profile, click fitting system or comes with the insertion trim to create T&G. With tongue and groove chevron wood flooring the tongues fit tightly into the grooves to create a snug fit. Tongue and Groove flooring is most popular and stable installation method for wooden floors. The difference with Chevron Wood flooring is that the top and bottom of each block of flooring is cut off at a 45 degree angle.
Rather than laying the planks next to each other, you would install them in a Chevron or ‘V’ shape pattern. The planks of Chevron flooring must be fixed to the subfloor with a flexible wood flooring adhesive. With Click fitting chevron flooring you would simply click the planks together in the ‘V’ shape but you still need to glue them down to the subfloor.
Installing Chevron wood flooring can be very difficult, therefore, using a professional fitting team with knowledge and experience is best advised. Our fitting team are highly trained and experts at the projects they undertake, from start to completion.
